Face Lift
If you are bothered by facial wrinkles and sagging caused by aging, facelift surgery may be the right surgical treatment for you. Technically known as rhytidectomy, a facelift is a surgical procedure that tightens underlying tissues and muscles and removes excess skin.
A facelift is known to improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck, such as:
- Sagging in the midface
- Deep creases below the lower eyelids
- Deep creases along the nose extending to the corner of the mouth
- Fat that has fallen or is displaced
- Loss of muscle tone in the lower face may create jowls
- Loose skin and excess fatty deposits under the chin and jaw that result in the appearance of a double chin
Rejuvenation procedures typically performed in conjunction with a facelift are brow lift, to correct a sagging or deeply furrowed brow, and eyelid sugary, to rejuvenate aging eyes. Determining the best treatment for your aesthetic goals is one of our specialties.
Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
Also known as blepharoplasty, an eyelid lift can improve the appearance of the upper eyelids, lower eyelids or both, which results in a smoother, more refreshed appearance. The area around the eyes is among the first to betray a person’s true age. By removing excess skin and fat tissue from the eyelids and eliminating drooping or sagging skin to revitalize the appearance of the eye area, this type of facial rejuvenation surgery can have a profound impact on your appearance.
An eyelid lift is a highly individualized procedure, as with any cosmetic surgery, and Dr. Holt is trained and committed to providing honest recommendations about how best to achieve your aesthetic goals.
Brow Lift
A brow lift reduces the wrinkle lines that develop across the forehead; raises sagging eyebrows that may be causing a hood on the upper eyelids; and places the eyebrows in a more aesthetically appropriate position. If you have deep wrinkles or facial lines in your forehead or your brows droop over your eyes, a brow lift may be your ideal solution.
For some individuals, minimally invasive alternatives such as BOTOX® may produce results that sufficiently meet their needs; however, if you wish to achieve more dramatic results, then facial cosmetic surgery, including a brow lift (potentially in conjunction with an eyelid lift) may be necessary to achieve your personal expectations.
