The number of appointments and the total number of vials needed vary from person to person depending on how much collagen has been lost. A full Scultpra Aesthetic treatment takes, on average, two to three sessions over the course of several months. Each treatment session takes no more than an hour. Before each session, topical anesthetic cream is applied to reduce discomfort, followed by a series of delicate injections. After the treatment period is complete, the results can last for 2 years or longer.

We have fourteen years experience and extensive training in the treatment of Sculptra® Aesthetic. The most common side effects after each treatment include injection site swelling, tenderness, redness, pain, bruising, bleeding, itching, and lumps. These side effects will resolve within two weeks. Larger lumps, some with delayed onset (with or without inflammation or skin discoloration), have also been reported.
